The good news is that safe, non-surgical treatment is now available to help minimise the appearance of hair loss in the form or semi-permanent, scalp micropigmentation and microblading.
Scalp micropigmentation (or SMP) is a specialised form of tattooing. Tiny dots of pigment replicate healthy hair follicles, giving the appearance of natural hair growth/stubble. It is the quickest, non surgical method of recreating a thicker, more dense-looking head of hair. This treatment is best for larger areas of hair loss to give a perfect 'shaved head' look.
Scalp microblading is a semi-permanent, tattoo solution that involves implanting hair-like strokes. These fine strokes create an illusion of hair in that region of the scalp. This treatment is perfect for spot patches and minor hairline recession or unevenness.

The outcome of your skin treatment is not determined by the procedure alone. To maximise the best outcomes you'll need to carefully prepare your skin and body before treatment and apply special care after treatment.

Scalp consultation
An initial consultation is particularly important if you're a new client to Glowtique; have never had a semi-permanent makeup procedure; or have allergies or health concerns*.
For you, this session allows us to discuss your requirements and address any concerns. For us, it gives knowledge about your skin tone and condition; checks for any existing allergies or medication; and informs of your facial structure—in order to craft a customised solution for you.
The session also includes a trial patch to ensure that you won't have an adverse reaction to a complete treatment.
Because of the time, skill and product used in this session there is a fee—however for those continuing on to full designer brow session this fee is 100% deducted.
*If you are healthy and have previously had a successful semi-permanent procedure done you may be able to skip this initial session. Contact Glowtique to discuss.
