The outcome of your areola treatment is not determined by the procedure alone. To maximise the best outcomes you'll need to carefully prepare your skin before treatment and apply special care after treatment.

Please carefully study the following tips to care for your skin after treatment. Not doing so may hinder your final results.
After care for areola
What to expect
Day 1 - 2
Slight redness and swelling around the treatment areas.
Day 3 - 5
Vibrant colour that fades by around 20% after the first week. Touch up (check up session after 6 weeks)
After care routine
- Do not touch your treatment area to give it time to rest and stay clean after your procedure.
- Do take shower as per usual avoid hash cleaning only gentle wash.
- Do be very gentle and avoid rubbing the treatment area. Rinse with cool water and lightly pat dry.
- Do wear loose clothes, and no bra for a few days. If you need to wear a bra, make sure it's in good hygienic condition.
- If you feel dryness or itchiness use the provided aftercare cream to soothe the area (usually days 3-5).
General after care
- Do not expose your treatment areas to direct sunlight.
- Do not touch the treated area.
- Do not scratch, rub or pick any treatment scabs.
- Do minimise water exposure. Avoid swimming and long, hot, steamy baths or showers until fully healed.

If you experience anything that doesn't feel right contact your Glowtique expert immediately. You may be given special instructions or be forwarded to seek professional medical treatment.
