Preparing for treatment
The outcome of your brow treatment is not determined by the procedure alone. To maximise the best outcomes you'll need to carefully prepare your skin before treatment and apply special care after treatment.

Two days (48 hours) before
- Do not take medications or supplements that may thin your blood or immediately after your procedure. Supplements include aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, garlic, vitamin E and grapefruit. Consult your doctor if you are unsure.

Your comfort
About comfort and topical anaesthetic
Glowtique has devised unique, specialised techniques that are so gentle compared to traditional semi-permanent application, that they no longer require the use of anaesthetic—resulting in faster, more even healing along with superior visual outcomes—beautiful features that our clients love!
We've found that the application of anaesthetic can distort the treatment area and overall results are not quite as defined and natural when using the typical numbing cream.
This can often be surprising to new clients as they may have had previous painful treatments elsewhere.
We understand those concerns and are careful to assess individuals based on their skin and treatment types. While we are confident in our recommendations we understand that some people may still prefer to use an anaesthetic during treatment.
For those following this path, topical anaesthetic is included in your procedure costs. Glowtique orders your anaesthetic however, because each batch is created at a dose specifically for you, you will need to complete a health check via phone with our compounding pharmacist. We will let you know more about this during your consultation.
